Internet Safety Help Home Consultation – What should I Expect?

Submit your information below.  Within 24 hours a PayPal invoice will be sent to your e-mail box.  Once payment is received, you will receive the survey to complete.  This survey should not take more than 20 minutes but is crucial to the customization of your Individual Internet Safety Guide.   Send the completed survey to the e-mail included within the PDF.  You will receive immediate confirmation that the completed survey was received.  If necessary, there may be a few follow-up questions during the survey review and Individual Internet Safety Guide creation.  Within 72 hours, you will receive your Individual Internet Safety Guide.

Once the Individual Internet Safety Guide has been sent, you will receive communication to coordinate a follow-up phone call.   This phone call or video chat session will be used to address any questions you may have regarding your Individual Internet Safety Guide.   This could include questions regarding implementation of controls such as web filters, or a video chat with family members about Internet Safety.  The time will be dedicated to the topics and subjects that you want to discuss.  During the call, the home consultation will be scheduled.

The Home Consultation is currently offered only in Utah within Davis, Salt Lake and Utah Counties.  If you are interested in consultation and live outside of the areas, submit your information below and we can present alternatives or possibly facilitate a group rate.

Internet Safety Help Home Consultation – What is it?

The Home Consultation includes the creation of the Individual Internet Safety Guide.  The Individual Internet Safety Guide is much more than just a blog post or instruction list.  It is a risk-ranked action plan for your family.  It will direct you to address the Internet Safety issues that expose the MOST risk for your family FIRST.  There is SO much to worry about.  This list will break it down and make it simple! The list will include links to in-depth tutorials that will show you how to make any changes to your devices or accounts.  If you can address the top ten areas, you should be in good shape!

In addition to the Individual Internet Safety Guide, you will have one-on-one consultation with Securemama herself in your own home!  Cathy Olsen has been working in the Information Security field for more than 10 years and holds multiple IT security certifications.  She has identified security threats and risks for large companies for years and now she wants to help you!  She is very familiar with the dangers that your family may be exposed.  She is also a mother and understands the balance of implementing simple settings and filters so you don't have to WORRY so much about the Internet.

The Home Consultation will leverage the Individual Internet Safety Guide to address the current activities and settings that are causing your family the most risk.  This time will also be used to address any of YOUR needs or questions that you may have.  By choosing the Home Consultation, some of the more technical work will be done for you.  You won't have to WORRY or WORK as hard to keep your kids safe on the Internet.

The In-home consultation can include varied amount of activities depending on the needs of the family.  Here are some examples:

  • Implement web filters
